Our project involves obtaining natural gas allocation (30 MMSCFD) from Ketapang Bukit Tua phase 1 and distributing it to PT. Pembangkit Jawa Bali (PJB). We also developed 110 kilometers of underwater gas pipelines to PT. PJB.

Powering Java-Bali Through PT. Petrogas Jatim Utama (PJU)

This flagship project represents a successful long-term collaboration between PT. Tri Mitra Bayany (TMB) and PT. Petrogas Jatim Utama (PJU), aimed at securing critical energy supplies for national power generation.

Gas Allocation and Distribution

Between 2015 and 2020, TMB successfully obtained a natural gas allocation from the Ketapang Bukit Tua phase 1, operated by Petronas Carigali Ketapang Ltd.

  • The project involved the management and distribution of 30 MMSCFD of natural gas.

  • This vital energy resource was channeled directly to PT. Pembangkit Jawa Bali (Java-Bali Generation) to support the region’s electricity grid.

Major Infrastructure Development

A key achievement of this partnership was the successful engineering and construction of critical subsea infrastructure.

  • TMB developed 110 kilometers of underwater gas pipelines.

  • These pipelines feature a 20-inch diameter, connecting Block Ketapang directly to PT. PJB.
